Ways to Check and Pay Your Traffic Fine in Abu Dhabi

The Emirates Vehicle Gate (EVG) offers a convenient way for car owners and drivers to handle various vehicle-related tasks, including paying traffic fines. Here’s how you can pay fines using the EVG platform:

Website Payment
  • Visit the EVG website and click on the “Pay Traffic Fines” tab.
  • Search for outstanding fines using your traffic code, vehicle plate, or license number.
  • Select the pending fine and proceed to make the payment using a debit or credit card.
Mobile App Payment
  • Download the EVG app and register your account.
  • Tap on “Pay Traffic Fines” and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the payment.

Ministry of Interior (MOI) Website and App

You can also pay traffic fines via the Ministry of Interior’s (MOI) official website or mobile app.  

Website Payment
  • Go to the MOI website and select the “E-services” tab.
  • Choose “Traffic & Licensing” and then “Payment of Traffic Fines.”
  • Sign in with your UAE Pass or register if you don’t have an account.
  • Use your traffic profile, vehicle plate, or license numbers to find outstanding fines.
  • Select the fine, enter your payment information, and complete the transaction. You will receive an e-receipt confirming the payment.
Mobile App Payment
  • Download the MOI UAE app from the Apple Store, Google Play, or Huawei AppGallery.
  • Open the app, sign in with your UAE Pass, and navigate to “Traffic Fines Payment.”
  • Select the fine and enter your payment details. You will receive a receipt once the payment is successful.

TAMM Website and App

The TAMM platform is another efficient way to pay traffic fines in Abu Dhabi.

  • Visit the TAMM website and click on the “Services” tab.
  • Under the “Individual” heading, select “Drive & Transport.”
  • Find the “Fines & Violations” section and click on “Traffic Fine Payment.”
  • Sign in with your UAE Pass, enter your Emirates ID and vehicle registration details, and follow the prompts to complete the payment. You can use a debit/credit card or E-dirham.
Mobile App Payment
  • Download the TAMM app.
  • Tap “Payments” on the homepage, select “Traffic Fines Payment,” and sign in with your UAE Pass.
  • Enter your payment details and complete the transaction. You will receive a notification and receipt.

Abu Dhabi Police Website and App

The Abu Dhabi Police also offer an online payment option through their website and app:

  • Visit the Abu Dhabi Police website, go to “Our Services,” and select “Traffic Fines Payment.”
  • You will be redirected to the TAMM website to complete the payment process.
Mobile App Payment
  • Download the Abu Dhabi Police app, sign in, or register with your Emirates ID.
  • View your fines on the homepage and select the ones you want to pay.
  • Enter your payment details and complete the transaction. You will receive a receipt upon completion.

For those who prefer to pay in person, Abu Dhabi provides self-service kiosks and customer service centres:

Sahl Kiosks

Sahl kiosks are available at Integrated Services Centers and ADNOC service stations. These kiosks allow users to:

  • Renew vehicle registrations and driving licenses.
  • Inquire about and pay traffic fines.
  • Issue replacements for lost or damaged driver’s licenses and vehicle registration certificates.

Customer Service Centers

You can also visit any Abu Dhabi Police Traffic Department Customer Service Centers to pay your fines directly.
