LuLu Group International is an Indian global syndicate with headquarters in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, that owns a chain of hypermarkets and retail businesses. M. A. Yusuff Ali of Nattika, Thrissur district, Kerala, India, started it in the year 2000. LuLu is best known for its international hypermarket chain “Lulu Hypermarket.”

With 215 stores, consequently, it is one of Asia’s largest retail chains and the Middle East’s largest. Lulu Hypermarket is managed by LuLu Group International, which also owns 13 shopping malls. It was just named one of the top 50 fastest-growing merchants globally.

According to the agreement, local entrepreneurs who run startups and small businesses will be able to expand their businesses by showcasing their products at Lulu Hypermarket, which caters to a wide range of clients in Qatar.

Abdulla Faleh Al Saeed, Board Member and Acting General Manager of Bedaya Center, was overjoyed by the prospect of working with the well-known LuLu hypermarket once again. Previous collaborations made it possible to hold workshops to increase awareness among entrepreneurs and owners of small, medium, and home businesses.

“Today, we bring this constructive cooperation to a close-by allowing Qatari entrepreneurs to display their products for free in one of the country’s most prestigious retailers. This project is in keeping with Bedaya’s unwavering commitment to enriching and enhancing the capacities of entrepreneurs in all areas so that they can advance and take their first steps into the world of success. We are optimistic that with this relationship, the participating entrepreneurs will be able to grow their consumer base and broaden the reach of their products,” he added.

Dr Mohamed Altaf, Director of Lulu Group International, said: “Lulu Group International is excited to see the success of its partnership with Bedaya Center. This partnership aligns with our vision of supporting Qatari startups and small businesses. The number of entrepreneurs who benefit from Bedaya Center’s support will increase, especially because Qatari products have proven to be high quality. The first pavilion displaying the products of collaborating projects was inaugurated today”.

“The purpose is to help future entrepreneurs get on the right track to starting a business by delivering instructive courses as well as a variety of advisory services to help them achieve their objectives,” Altaf added.

Entrepreneurs interested in participating in this program can submit their applications and see the terms and conditions on the Bedaya Center’s website.
