Vision for Modern Education

Purposeful, aligned: MWC26 Doha and ITU PP-26

NextEra Education seeks to introduce transformative changes that reflect the growing global demand for advanced technical skills. The initiative envisions a future where students are equipped with the latest knowledge in artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, data science, and other fields critical to the modern economy.

It focuses on developing a learning environment that not only prepares students for today’s workforce but also positions them as future leaders in their respective industries.

The integration of AI into the educational processes is a key feature of NextEra Education. By embedding these technologies into learning systems, the institution aims to deliver a personalised and cutting-edge learning experience. This initiative ensures that Egyptian students are equipped with modern skills, positioning them to succeed in an increasingly globalised economy.

Strategic Collaborations with Global Institutions

One of the major components of NextEra Education is its partnership with prestigious international universities. The initiative has established collaborations with a range of institutions from around the world, including:

  • University of Minnesota
  • Drake University
  • Illinois Institute of Technology
  • Collège de Paris
  • Nexford University
  • 01 Talent Coding School

These partnerships will enable the institution to offer a variety of globally recognized and accredited programs. Students will have access to bachelor’s degree programs in vital areas such as programming systems, artificial intelligence, business administration, and cybersecurity. Such offerings ensure that graduates will be equipped with the qualifications required to excel in both local and international job markets.

Transforming Egypt’s Educational Ecosystem

Mohamed Farouk, CEO of Mobica and Chairman of NextEra Education, emphasised the initiative’s potential to reshape the educational ecosystem in Egypt.

He highlighted that the project is not just about introducing new curricula but is focused on bridging the gap between traditional educational methods and the demands of the modern economic landscape. According to Farouk, this significant investment sets a new benchmark for educational excellence in the country.

Through NextEra Education, there is a clear focus on ensuring that Egypt’s educational system aligns with the needs of the global workforce. With a curriculum designed to tackle real-world problems and industries, this initiative will place Egypt on the map as a leader in educational transformation within the region.

The Role of AI in Education

The use of artificial intelligence is a core aspect of NextEra Education’s vision. By incorporating AI into every aspect of the learning process, the initiative ensures that students will benefit from tailored educational experiences. AI-driven learning platforms will assess students’ strengths and weaknesses, offering personalised guidance and ensuring that each student reaches their full potential.

Mustafa Abd Ellatif, CEO of EYouth and NextEra Education, pointed out that this initiative is a bold step towards redefining education in Egypt. He emphasised that the combination of advanced technology, significant financial investment, and strategic international partnerships will give students the tools they need to thrive in a highly competitive global market.

A Unified Approach to Business and Education

The collaboration between business leaders and the education sector is a defining characteristic of NextEra Education.

Ahmed Tarek, Chairman of Swiss Co. and Allianz Logistics & Services Holding and Board Member of NextEra Education, noted that this initiative brings together expertise from both business and education to ensure that the programs offered are relevant and forward-thinking.

By creating a platform where education meets industry needs, NextEra Education is positioning itself as a leader in educational innovation.

This partnership between entrepreneurs and educators ensures that the curriculum not only provides theoretical knowledge but also focuses on practical applications. Graduates from NextEra Education will be equipped with the hands-on skills that businesses require in today’s fast-paced environment.

Fostering Innovation and Creativity

NextEra Education is committed to fostering innovation and creativity among its students. Mokhtar Ahmed, COO of NextEra Education, expressed excitement about the initiative’s potential to create an educational environment that meets international standards while nurturing students’ creative abilities. Ahmed believes that this is just the beginning of a transformative journey that will elevate education in Egypt to new heights.

The focus on innovative learning methods and global partnerships highlights the forward-thinking approach of NextEra Education. With an emphasis on technological integration and industry collaboration, the initiative is well-positioned to address the educational needs of future generations.

Looking Ahead

NextEra Education stands as a groundbreaking initiative that is set to revolutionise Egypt’s educational landscape. Through a combination of advanced AI technologies, partnerships with international universities, and a commitment to fostering creativity and innovation, this initiative aims to provide world-class education to Egyptian students.
