Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – BRKZ, a leading B2B managed marketplace for construction materials with embedded financing, has successfully closed its $17 million Series A funding. This investment aims to scale its innovative technology platform, optimizing procurement and financing in Saudi Arabia’s booming construction sector.
Addressing Construction Procurement Challenges
With the MENA region investing $3 trillion in infrastructure projects, construction companies are grappling with fragmented supply chains and inefficient procurement processes. BRKZ tackles these issues by providing a digital marketplace that connects contractors with over 1,100 suppliers, offering more than 7,000 SKUs with competitive quotes in just 20 minutes. The platform’s embedded financing solutions further align with construction cash flow cycles, ensuring greater efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Strategic Funding and Investor Support
The latest funding round includes an $8M Series A2 investment secured in January 2025, supplemented by $1M in venture debt from Capifly. This follows the initial $8M Series A1 raised in December 2023, bringing BRKZ’s total funding to $22.5M. Existing investors, including BECO Capital, Aramco’s Waed, 9900 Capital, and Better Tomorrow Ventures, reaffirmed their commitment, highlighting confidence in BRKZ’s vision.
“Traditional procurement in construction is highly fragmented and manual, requiring contractors to juggle multiple suppliers, lengthy negotiations, and delayed payments,” said Ibrahim Manna, Founder and CEO of BRKZ. “This funding will enable us to enhance our tech platform, expand into cross-border trading, and refine our BNPL offering to better support the industry.”
Rapid Growth and Market Expansion
Since launching its Series A1, BRKZ has quadrupled its revenue in 2024, serving over 850 contractors and factories across key Saudi projects, including King Salman Park, Neom, and the Red Sea Project. The platform has processed an impressive $350M (SAR 1.3 billion) in RFQs, expanding its delivery network to 40+ cities in Saudi Arabia.
Real-World Impact
Contractors and suppliers have experienced firsthand the advantages of BRKZ’s platform. A contractor from Saudi Arabia’s central region efficiently sourced materials for a Western Region project without a local team, leveraging BRKZ’s seamless procurement process. Similarly, a cement block factory expanded its customer base and improved raw material sourcing through the platform.
