With just days to go before Qatar hosts the inaugural MWC25 Doha on 25-26 November, the GSMA has issued a final call for registration as preparations accelerate for what is set to become one of the most significant technology gatherings in the Middle East. Organised in partnership with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), the event marks the first expansion of the Mobile World Congress franchise into the region.

A landmark regional debut for MWC
Centred on three themes, AI Nexus, Intelligent Economies, and Connected Industries, this year’s programme spans agentic AI, AI-powered telco models, Open Gateway, 5G and 6G futures, satellite and NTN networks, fintech, commerce, and smart mobility.

The Qatar Pavilion will act as a unified national showcase for the country’s digital progress. Thirteen key organisations, including MCIT, CRA, QSTP, QRDI, QCRI, Qatar University, and Visit Qatar, will present flagship projects reflecting the nation’s advancing AI capabilities, infrastructure modernisation and ecosystem development.
4YFN to debut in MENA with 100+ startups
MWC25 Doha will also host the first-ever MENA edition of 4YFN, spotlighting more than 100 startups across fintech, deeptech, healthtech and climate tech.

- A sports innovation zone by FC Barcelona’s Barca Innovation Hub
- Mobile World Capital Barcelona showcasing medtech, cooling and AI innovations

Smart City Expo Doha
Integrated into MWC25, Smart City Expo will explore digital infrastructure, future talent, emerging technologies and next-generation government under the theme “Beyond Connectivity: A Digital Solutions Pathway to a Smarter, Thriving Future.”

MWC25 Doha will feature a dedicated Announcement Lounge, allowing companies to formalise strategic agreements and MoUs on-site, reinforcing its role as a business-driven catalyst for the digital economy.
